What happens when gentle yoga meets Muay Thai?
A little movement, a little laughter and a whole lot of good energy!
Join Mel from Wellness With Mel and Cody from Sunny Days Wellbeing for a relaxed Friday evening beneath the trees at Riverdell Spiritual Centre.
With our feet on the grass surrounded by nature, and with warm festivity in the air, we will hone in on our true strength, helping bring peace and power to the mind, body, and soul.
Yoga:
We will begin with gentle, flowing yoga, weaving in Tai Chi-inspired movement to help the body soften, loosen up and find its rhythm.
Muay Thai:
Cody will guide us through the empowering techniques and teachings of Muay Thai. Everyone will be guided through these specialties and technical skills at a pace and level designed for all capabilities. This is a playful introduction to Muay Thai with an opportunity to explore your strength in a whole new way.
For those who may not be aware, Muay Thai is a martial art believed to have originated in Thailand thousands of years ago and was traditionally used in battle. For us, we will use some of its fundamental techniques to help build strength, inside and out.
No sparring. No competition. No experience needed.
Just two different styles of movement coming together in a welcoming space, where you can move at your own pace.

As the evening slows, we will gather for Organic nourishment of fresh fruit, homemade bliss balls and good conversation beneath the twilight sky.
