Event description

Labyrinths have long been used as a tool for contemplation and as a powerful symbol for life’s journey, including the ebbs and flows of life. Flow can be found in many of Earths natural systems including the flow of water molecules through the water cycle and the flow of lava to create new landforms. Observing the flow of life around and within us helps us to create a deeper connection to the natural world.

This session is an invitation to reflect on our relationship to the flow of nature by connecting with the environment of the Bushgardens and journalling our thoughts and feelings, guided by prompts that help to focus our awareness. We’ll share what observations we have gathered in circle, and ask how we can incorporate more flow into our lives as a way to deepen our connection to nature. To finish the session we’ll walk the labyrinth together, allowing our bodies and minds to relax into the gentle flow of the path as it leads us into the stillness of the centre and then out again.

Bring a folding chair. Meet out the front of the Volunteer Centre (main building).
