✦ Class Description ✦
Because pain is a language, and fluency takes practice.
Pain is not punishment. It is communication. It is how the body tells stories too deep for words.
In this class, we explore pain as both language and alchemy. How the nervous system processes sensation. How context reshapes chemistry. How bottoms can learn to stay conscious, connected, and creative inside intensity.
We explore what it means to be an active bottom, not enduring pain but collaborating with it. Together we dive into the anatomy, psychology, and emotional literacy that transform pain from endurance into expression.
We will also explore how to communicate so you can go deeper, giving your Tops the information they need to shape the play you want without breaking connection or flow.
Pain does not have to be about the most you can take or how far you can go. It does not have to be about extremes. It does, however, need to be about interpretation, about staying present in the sensations, reading their language, and understanding what they are saying. We do not explore that enough. We are often driven by the pressure the community places on us to be the most intense, the most marked, the one who can wear the bruises. But what if we reframe it? What if fluency means knowing what we actually enjoy, what we can consciously experience, and how to use our voices as bottoms to shape play that feels alive, intentional, and fun?
Finally, we’ll look at how to safely build and increase intensity, what it looks like in the body, how to read the signs of overload before they happen, and how to open thresholds through breath, rhythm, and trust rather than force.
This class expands on the writing Fluent in Pain, part of my ongoing series on bottoming, pain, and perception.

✦ What We’ll Explore ✦
• The difference between pain as harm and pain as connection
• How context and consent rewire the chemistry of sensation
• Fast pain, slow pain, and how the nervous system translates each
• How active bottoming turns pain into presence and expression
• How to read your body’s cues, speak your needs, and build fluency through awareness
• What increasing intensity looks and feels like, and how to expand safely
• How to reframe pain from endurance into enjoyment and play
Pain is not something that happens to you.
It is something you speak with, through breath, sound, and surrender.
When you become fluent in your own pain, you stop chasing thresholds and start shaping them.
✦ About the Instructor ✦
@Ms_Kitten_ (she/her) is an experimental masochist, fetish artist, and educator whose work lives in the space between pain, artistry, and emotional translation.
Her body is both her canvas and her classroom, where pain becomes a dialect of presence, vulnerability, and self-discovery. Through deliberate surrender, she explores how intensity shapes awareness, how sensation holds story, and how we can use pain as a language to reclaim power and meaning.
Her love for pain, its texture, rhythm, and honesty, is what led her here to your door and these conversations.
Based in Cape Town, she is the co-founder of Reign_of_Blood and Let_it_Reign, educational platforms dedicated to advancing conversations around consent, risk, and the artistry of play. Her teaching blends body awareness, risk budgeting, and embodied consent, inviting participants to treat kink as both creation and communion, a place where the body speaks what the soul cannot yet say.
