Join the Office for Early Childhood Development (OECD) and Nature Play SA to celebrate a Flying Start for Kids in the Park!
This event invites families to slow down, reconnect, make memories and take part in nature.
Explore tree lined paths and discover the hidden treasures of nature. Children will explore a hands-on sensory world as they mix and pour and create Nature Potions, Tinkering and Loose Parts play activities, storytelling and songs while exploring the adventure playground.
Designed to spark creativity and curiosity in children aged 0–5 and their families, these activities open a sensory world of fragrant herbs, seasonal plants, pots and pans, and intriguing textures. Encouraging experimentation, imagination, and unstructured play in nature.
