Phil Usher – CEO, First Nations Foundation

• Phil is a Wiradjuri man, but as he grew up in Tamworth he identifies more with the Gameroi people. He has worked in a finance consulting role within the Department of Human Services where he worked with over 3,000 clients. Phil has a personal mission to ensure that Aboriginal people build long-term sustainable wealth and believes this can be achieved through money and business education. Phil has started, acquired and sold a number of online businesses and wants to use this knowledge to help FNF move into the digital space. Additionally, Phil is a business advisor with The Business Centre in Newcastle where he worked with business owners to grow and scale their companies

Mariam Gabaji – Senior writer (Utilities), Finder

• Mariam Gabaji is a senior writer for Finder, specialising in the energy, mobile and Internet sectors. She has over 10 years of experience across both print and digital. Mariam has worked as editor of Lifehacker Australia, senior commissioning editor at Culture Trip in London and sports editor at The Express Tribune, a national newspaper in Pakistan.

Sarah Megginson – Head of Editorial, Finder

• Sarah Megginson leads a team of experienced writers and editors as the head of editorial at Finder. As a finance and property journalist for more than 15 years with expertise across home loans, personal finance and managing your budget, Sarah is also a media spokesperson for Finder and regularly appears on Sunrise, Today, Seven News, Studio 10 and radio shows.

Taylor Blackburn – Personal finance specialist, Finder

• Taylor Blackburn is a spokesperson and personal finance specialist at Finder. Since 2018, he has focused on sharing tips on personal finance and insurance, and regularly appears in national media including Sunrise, Today, ACA, SBS, ABC, Seven, Nine and Ten News as a spokesperson for Finder.
