Community Consultation: Fact Sheets About Victorian Hospital Changes

Are you a trans, gender diverse and/ or nonbinary person living in Victoria? 

Been to hospital in the last year? 

In July 2024, the Victorian Government changed the reporting requirements of all hospitals from only reporting on a patient’s gender to now reporting on a patient sex and gender. 

We are hosting a community consultation group to provide insights and feedback about a fact sheet Transgender Victoria, in partnership with Transcend Australia, have designed to provide more information to our community about these changes.

We want to hear from trans, gender diverse and non-binary people 16 years and older based in Victoria. All participants will be reimbursed $25 for their time.

If you live regionally or rurally in Victoria and cannot attend the in-person session, please email groupcoordinator@tgv.org.au as we would still love your feedback. We can also send out Travel Passes for public transport for those needing extra support.
