We invite you to attend the Free our Kids Film Screening on Nov 22 from 5-7pm at the Block Community Hub 1955 Broadway, Suite B, Oakland, CA 94612!
This film highlights the voices and visions of youth and members from Free our Kids, emphasizing the importance of challenging the dominant narratives about youth and the importance of healing/culture work alongside transforming the justice system through policy advocacy. In solidarity with the statewide youth justice narrative championed by the CA Alliance for Youth and Community Justice Coalition, we also elaborate on what "All Youth Are Sacred" means to us. The event will include a panel and performances from the interviewees of the film and snacks will be provided. We hope to see you all there! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
