FAQs

When do you run?
Every fortnight — alternating between our Commonfolk, Strong and Recovery Lab Check out our [Humanitix page] for the latest dates and locations.

Do I have to be a runner?
Not at all! Walkers, joggers, cruisers, sprinters — everyone’s welcome. We’ve got 2.5k and 5k routes to suit all levels.

What happens if it rains?
Wear a raincoat — we run rain, hail or shine (unless it’s truly unsafe). A little drizzle just adds character.

Do I need to drink coffee?
Nope — but if it’s your first time, your coffee’s on us. Just our way of saying welcome!

What’s the cost?
It’s completely free — always.

Do I have to sign up?
No need to register, just show up! But signing up helps us plan better (and gets you that free coffee if you're new).

Is there a leader or coach?

  • Mornington: No formal coach, but someone from Commonfolk, STRONG, or Recovery Lab will be there to guide you.

Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely — friendly pups on leads are welcome. Just note they can’t come inside the café afterward.

What are the courses like?
Each location has a 2.5km and 5km option. You’ll find the route maps on our Folk on the Move Strava page.

Do I need to be on Strava?
Not at all! But if you’re into it, feel free to connect with our community there.

Facilities:
Toilets are available at Commonfolk, Recovery Lab, STRONG, Civic Reserve Athletics Track, and at the 1km mark on the route.

Parking:
Available along Progress Street (Commonfolk and Strong) or Recovery Lab.

Filming Notice:
We’ll be capturing video during the event — let us know if you’d prefer not to be filmed.

Let’s move, recover, and kick off something awesome together.
We can’t wait to see you there!
