Event description

Hop on the bus and travel to Cleanaway in Laverton - to the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) to see what happens to your recycling - how it gets there, how it's sorted, the impact of contamination and how to recycle right!

Meeting at Bunjil Place in Narre Warren, this tour will visit Cleanaway in Laverton, as well as Cleanaway's Recycling Education Centre in Hallam to learn about what goes into which bin, before returning to Bunjil Place.

This tour is fully catered and always popular, so book in now to avoid missing out!

Please note that this tour may include stairs, uneven ground, potentially slippery surfaces and indoor and outdoor movements. As they are industrial facilities, there will be load noises and smells. Travel is by bus. Please note if this will be an issue for you, or if you are wishing to attend and these situations may be a barrier for you, please contact us to discuss how we might make the tour work for you.

This event is for people over 16 years old. We are unable to take children on these tours.
