Fondue 012: Focus

Lock in – look deeper – let go – let’s go –

Fondue invites you to ~Focus~, an open-mic, spoken-word event and the final fundraising push in publishing our first book.

We’ve been toiling away, absorbed in our laptops, as this project slowly crystallises. Now, we’re excited to bring our community back together, to reconnect in a way that helps us realise our goal. Focus is what’s driving us – and your theme for Fondue 012!

Readers are welcome to share any writing, from prose to poetry to something experimental, relating to the prompt: Focus. How you interpret it is up to you…

There'll be a special, live-music performance from David Williams (Posm), DJ Brad aka Freda will be back, we’ll be serving some yummy vegan eats made by Adriana Beach and Anita Donovan (@maddog.pdf) will be selling merch made by loving hand. Beers by Grifter will also be available by donation.

Fondue 012 is taking place at a new location of Rikota Studio, on beautiful Gadigal Country. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of this land, a place of storytelling and art for thousands of years. We extend our respects to all First Nations people attending; if you’re First Nations and would like to read or attend, let us know and we can sort out a ticket for you. We’d love to see you there!
