Event description

If you knew you could change your mood by what you eat, would you - is it that simple?

Your gut is literally swarming with microbes. Bugs that impact the way you think and feel. Did you realise that within 24 hours of eating a meal you can change the makeup or your micro-biome – you literally are what you eat? And, what you eat can change how you feel…

Join us in conversation with Professor Felice Jacka from Deakins Food and Mood Centre and Professor Jason Wu from the George Institute for Global Health as we explore the link between Food and our Mood and what we're doing at UNSW to make the healthy choice the easy choice with the Good Food Project.

Mental Health March is created by UNSW Health Promotions Unit and aims to encourage the UNSW community to engage in conversations surrounding the often challenging topics of mental health and wellbeing. The team offer workshops, resources and mental health services to all UNSW Students and Staff.

If you or someone you know needs some support with their mental health, you can contact the Psychology and Wellness team via Mental Health Connect.
