Food Democracy 101

Want to become a more active food citizen? Want to have more of a say in our food system?

Then join us for this second of three interactive workshops focusing on individual, community and regional action within the food system. Co-hosted by the Food Embassy and Dr Sue Booth, Adjunct Senior lecturer Flinders university, and 3 amazing guest speakers. The sessions will be packed full of informative content, practical skills, and take-home resources for you to use in the workshop and beyond.

Be inspired, be challenged but most of all be changed.

Fran and Janis are two local inspiring women building their own alternative fruit distribution network involving a farmer, loads of fruit and a huge network of friends. Come and hear about the joy of discovering the local amazing apricot grower and the fun and connections that have occurred from a new way of getting your local produce.
