Food in Space
Event description
Welcome to Food in Space - a research study exploring how our sense of taste and smell is influenced by different environmental conditions.
Join us on a unique sensory experience involving the tasting of flavoured jellies, liquids, and chocolate-based snacks, as well as the evaluation of food-related aromas.
Using tools like Virtual Reality and a space motion simulator, this study doesn’t just test your senses—it gives you a realistic feeling of what eating in space actually feels like. From the posture shifts to the altered visuals and sounds, you’ll experience the kinds of sensory changes astronauts face on missions beyond Earth.
To enrich your experience, immersive tools such as Virtual Reality and motion simulation are used—making this an unforgettable journey for your senses.
