Food SA - Export Market Development Masterclass
Event description
Delivered over three two-hour online sessions, the Export Market Development Masterclass is designed to explore and explain the different characteristics of key export markets to help you target your export plan with the highest potential to deliver sales growth.
All content is specific to the food and beverage and agribusiness sectors and will be tailored to key product categories represented by participating businesses. Participants will receive access to the Food South Australia Export Plan Builder Toolkit which you can use during the masterclass to prepare your market strategy and continue to complete following the program.
Upon completion of the Masterclass, eligible businesses may be invited to participate in online mentoring with Export Connect and a virtual market visit. (Please note, to participate in these components of the program you must also be registered as a participant in the South Australia Food and Beverage Export Hub.)
The Export Market Development Masterclass is supported by the Australian Government and the Government of South Australia and is free to all participants. Fees apply for participation in subsequent online mentoring and the virtual market visit opportunities (subsidies may be available).

Masterclass sessions will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
on 27, 29 September and 1 October. We strongly recommend that you attend all 3 modules for maximum learning.
Who can participate?
This program is recommended for South Australian food and beverage businesses who are existing exporters and want to expand in export markets, or for businesses new to or re-entering exporting.
The selection of participants for the online mentoring and the virtual market visit will be based on the assessment of your business’ export readiness and plans.

Najib Lawand is highly experienced in export market development, with 25 years’ experience working with leading Australian food, beverage and agribusiness export businesses and specialising in opening up new export markets, including working extensively across the Middle East, North and South- East Asia. Najib founded Export Connect in 2017 and now works with clients in over 20 international markets.
The Export Market Development Masterclass is presented by the South Australian Food and Beverage Export Hub. The Export Hub receives grant funding from the Australian Government’s SME Export Hubs grant.
This program also receives funding support from the Government of South Australia through an industry- Government partnership designed to support industry-wide growth.
