These courses are free and will elevate your skills and boost our qualifications to help you succeed in the job market! 

In today’s food industry, meeting food safety standards is essential. That’s why Vocational Training Services are inviting you to join our SITSS00069 Food Safety Supervision Skill Set workshop, designed to help you achieve compliance and ensure safe food handling.

This workshop covers Standard 3.2.2A – Food Safety Management Tools of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, focusing on safe practices for storage, preparation, display, service, and disposal. Perfect for anyone directly handling food or food-contact surfaces, this course will equip you to maintain top food safety standards in your workplace.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

This workshop covers the key aspects of the food standard, including:

• Understanding the roles and responsibilities of a Food Safety Supervisor

• Learning about prescribed activities and how to handle potentially hazardous food

• Distinguishing between category one and category two businesses

• Implementing food safety management tools required for both categories of businesses

• Ensuring proper supervision of food handlers

• Verifying food safety management of prescribed activities
