A four-night pop-up film festival bringing 80s and 90s classics to the heart of Footscray. Think big-screen nostalgia, DJs, cocktails - it's a night out, not just a screening.

DAZED & CONFUSED

This coming-of-age film follows the mayhem of a group of rowdy teenagers in Austin, Texas, celebrating the last day of high school in 1976. The graduating class heads for a popular pool hall and joins an impromptu keg party, however star football player Randall "Pink" Floyd (Jason London) has promised to focus on the championship game and abstain from partying. Meanwhile, the incoming freshmen try to avoid being hazed by the seniors, most notably the sadistic bully Fred O'Bannion (Ben Affleck).

Footscray Flix is a tribute to Footscray's cinematic past, where four large cinemas once operated within 500m of one another. The last of these cinemas closed in 1987. That’s where our programming begins! Four nights of 80s and 90s popcorn classics with a nod to some memorable films of the West.

Enjoy pre-show drinks from Barbarian Brewing and DJs spinning tunes between films. Tickets at 1980s prices!
