Event description

"It would seem that the eyes and ears of the world aren't interested in Palestinian life, only in Palestinian death" - Plestia Alaqad.

Muslim Agenda is thrilled to invite you to our first Sisters Salon event!

Join us for an inspiring afternoon with award winning Palestinian authors Plestia Alaqad and Randa Abdel-Fattah in conversation with Muslim Agenda. Having both written their books during the genocide in Gaza, this afternoon promises to hold space for us to celebrate Palestinian life, explore resistance through the written word and the power of taking up space in a world that wants you to be small and silent.

Light refreshments will be provided and all proceeds from this event will go towards charity in Gaza.

All are welcome. You don't have to be a Muslim and/or a woman to attend!

Thank you to Outloud for providing venue support!
