In celebration of NAIDOC Week 2025, with its theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy”, the Message Stick Foundation is proud to announce its inaugural event for First Nations youth on Ngunnawal (ACT) Country.
The event will provide a powerful platform for First Nations mob to come together to connect and share.

- NAIDOC Youth Address – Young leader shares their vision for the future
- Elders Tent – Hosted by Traditional Owners & Youth
- Youth NAIDOC Hub – Truth telling and Panel discussions with young leaders and community mentors and ‘Deadly Talks’
- Cultural Performance – Local dance group to showcase tradition
- Showcase Art and Fashion: Fashion runway by Young Designers
- Entertainment by prominent First Nations hip hop artist (yet to be announced)
- Cultural Games & Sporting Activities: Traditional Indigenous Games (e.g. Buroinjin, Gorri) and AFL& Rugby drills with local Indigenous sports stars
- Youth Community Services Stalls: stalls for community support services available for youth
- Aboriginal Business & Community Markets including young entrepreneurs by having trade showstalls
- Food and Drinks: food trucks, native food and drinks
