Foraging Edible Weeds

Come and learn about foraging for edible weeds. I’ll talk about some of the reasons to get to know common plants in this region, ethics and safety of foraging, how to identify plants and nutritional value of different weeds. 
We’ll meet out front of Macedon Ranges WholeFoods so you can grab a coffee and inspect the weed samples before we head off for a short walk through the park to identify plants in-situ. 
This is a fun and fascinating activity for all ages and skill levels. Even if you have some foraging experience you’ll learn something new!
