Event description

🌲Wilderness is a necessity🌲

🌿Let Nature be your therapist 🌿

Are you stressed with life and the fast paced world we live in today?

Do you suffer from anxiety, depression or dis-ease?

Are you spending way too much time on your phone 📲 or computer 💻?

Shinrin-yoku is a term that means "taking in the forest atmosphere" or "forest bathing." 🌲

Come and join us on a Forest & Sound Immersion journey. 🌲🎶✨

Proven benefits of Forest Bathing include:

• Boosted immune system functioning, with an increase in the count of the body's Natural Killer (NK) cells.

• Reduced blood pressure

• Reduced stress

• Improved mood 😁

• Increased ability to focus.

• Accelerated recovery from surgery or illness

• Increased energy level

• Improved sleep

Opening our senses to nature also develops our intuition. We learn to contact in new ways with the world around us.

THE FACILITATORS

JULIA FORRESTER

Forrester by name, and forester by nature. Julia is a lover of nature and a nature photographer.

She loves to connect to the trees, birds, insects, animals, water etc and bring others along on the journey.

She has spent many years working on herself through personal development/growth and different healing modalities and has found spending time to really connect with nature, and self through nature is where she feels most at peace, supported, and finds clarity when needing it.

Shinrin-Yoku is a Japanese term for taking in the forest atmosphere or Forest Bathing.

Julia is passionate about inspiring others to come on a journey to reconnect with themselves and the beauty of nature, and to receive all the wonderful healing benefits nature provides for us.

MELANIE HUNTER

Melanie intuitively plays the Japanese singing bowls and other healing instruments whilst channelling love into your body.

These unique crystal infused metal bowls naturally stimulate brainwave entrainment With their beautiful harmonic overtones, resonating at a vast range of frequencies between 0 and 20,000 Hz.

The mix of soothing sound, gentle vibration and Love gives you a triple dose of bliss, bringing about Balance and complete harmony.

🌏 Please allow up to 5 hours and not be in a hurry to leave, to fully enjoy this journey.

🌏 Even though we will be on a dirt walking track, there is a slight incline going down into the forest and coming back up.  You will need to have good footing as there are times where you will need to walk over rocks and tree roots.

SCHEDULE:

🌲 Please meet at the picnic area at the car park at 7.15 for a 7.30 start. You will be sent the address once your spot is secured.

🌲Introductions, Welcome to Country, Smudging and Intention Setting.

🌲 Begin our walk in silence for approx 1 hour to our destination.  Julia will be setting the pace - slow to medium, stopping at times to tune into our senses, connect with the trees, plants, insects, water, rocks etc.

Once we begin our walk, all phones are to be switched off or in flight mode.

🌲 Once we are at our destination in the rainforest, there will be a cleared space for us to sit or lay down on the earth to enjoy the magic of Melanie’s singing bowls✨

🌲 Next we will spread ourselves out, and spend about 45 minutes in our own space to do what ever you like. Eg. Meditate, journal, hug trees, sit in silence or slowly wander.

🌲 After this time, we will gather around for conversation, snacks, and listen to the music of the plants.

I will be bringing my Midisprout which is a small machine that hooks up to plants and transforms the electrical current of the plant into music.
