RPG are proud to present our first show for 2025, and the first of two episodes of Forest Life. These projects have been a while in the making. We have been resting and recuperating after Timeless, and have been slowly getting matters in order for our next event.
Forest Life aims to build on the success of local Canberra community events this year, whilst recognising that the festival landscape (and the broader global geopolitical landscape) has now significantly changed. We are aiming to cultivate a well-run and intelligent doof that really focuses on nurturing people whilst providing good platforms for local and interstate artists to perform. We seek to bring together creatives and event organisers from across our local community to showcase their talents and what they do best.
Our Parties / Stage Takeovers:
1. Bass Music Session presented by ripple. Our Friday evening session (4:30pm - 12am) will feature a selection of fine bass music from good local and interstate selectas to get you moving and get the party started.
2. Techno Session presented by RPG. Our Friday night session will feature techno from midnight to 5am, including our headliner Shepz (Syd).
3. Deep Sleep Ambient Session. From 5am-9am Saturday morning, we will be playing lush ambient and chill music at a lower volume to allow you to sleep. But be careful as we may seek to gently infiltrate your dreams with some angelic and heavenly sounds!
4. From 9am Saturday, we will raise the pace, with a psy-trance, hi-tech, dark psy and forest showcase. Fast sounds during the day! Different to the norm!
5. As the sun sets on Saturday day, we will smoothen things out with a deep house session.
6. Eclectic Selectas will then take over the stage for 8 hours on the Saturday night. This crew has a lot of collective experience in music and parties and you can expect excellent vibes throughout!
7. From 3:30am Sunday morning, we will move into our final Lush session. This has a mixture of techno, tech-house and liquid sounds to take us through until close.
