Forestdance Fire Circle Ceremonial Gathering
Event description
Forestdance Sacred Fire Circle Ceremonial Gathering
Are you ready to gather with other artful humans to explore and uncover a mystical connection to the land that is reciprocal?
This is a place where we carry and catch songs of the elements, as we dance the fire.
A safe container to express joy, grief, and praise, to speak truth, and to honor and love the world as deeply as you have longed to.
Forestdance is a co-creative, experimental and magical deep dive and profound celebration of music, dance, life, and of our connection to sacred land and to our ancestors.
Welcome to the 40th Forestdance Fire Circle Ceremonial Gathering.
Forestdance is a ceremonial gathering, a rite of passage, where we circle and dance around a fire, exploring creativity and being in service for three full nights from midnight until dawn.
Our facilitators, teachers and everyone present, will help guide the circle on a journey helping us to access and reclaim our own core, our inspiration, and our connection to nature.
This beautiful gathering has shaped a community. It has reignited passions for so many talented people, reclaiming inspiration, and has shown an alternative way to co-exist that many of us have stopped dreaming about long ago.
Our location is Camp Timber Trails in Tolland, MA. A gorgeous 417 acre camp with a 16 acre pond, on unceded Nipmuk, Pocumtuc and Agawam Land.
The history of this gathering shares lineage with various spiritual fire circle traditions, including Starwood, Firedance, Celebrate the Spirit, Spiritfire, Illumination and Cascadia Fire.
"Your culture is welcome. Your ethnic origin is welcome. Your race, your
skin hue, your accent, your food preferences, and all of the complexities
that make up your cultural identity are welcome here. The histories,
herstories, and experiences of your ancestors are honored and welcomed."
--From the co-created The Big Welcome
This gathering is a celebration of all that we are and all that we can be.
Due to the deep nature of this event, to cultivate a powerful space, we ask all attending to be present for the orientation on Wednesday evening.
For those that have attended many times and are bringing children, a Thursday evening arrival may be possible if you check in with the registrar.
You may wonder if you can stay up all night and do three dances until dawn.
We sleep at dawn until brunch, then again after dinner. The magic works and you can do it.
It is truly important to come on Wednesday and settle in so you can be prepared for our first dance, and help co-create the space.
Price includes your food, our chef is sensitive to dietary restrictions.
There is no price for the ceremony. Admission fees covers the costs of the land rental, food, and supplies for putting on the gathering.
We cap attendance at 100 people.
This gathering is hosted by the HeARTbeat Collective, a 501c3 organization.
Culture, Creation, Service, Ecstatic Experience, Musical Trance space, with high energy drumming, subtle music making and chanting.
We become fully alive again in this space, wherever your are along your journey, it's big medicine.
We look forward to dancing around the fire with you soon!
