Event description

Gippsland Pride are so pleased to invite our community to "Forever Rainbows" a new social group for LGBTIQA+ folks over 50+ - a monthly social connection at the Gippsland Pride Hub in Trafalgar (and yes, similar opportunities will be popping up across Gippsland in the coming months).

From your feedback and as part of the Pride in Aging Strategy, we are kicking off a regular opportunity for connection and socialising - no or low cost and no pressure gatherings for Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Gender Diverse, Intersex and other 'Rainbow' Folks over the age of 50.

Gippsland Pride look forward to welcoming you to the Pride Hub in Trafalgar for Afternoon Tea. This is an informal get together to connect with other community members, share resources and make new friendships, find out what is happening around the place and hear from guests on topics informed and requested by the group members. Stay for as long or little as you like but please register to ensure you can attend.

Our Forever Rainbow Program and events will assist the community to be inclusive, diverse and work towards positive mental health and physical health, and ensure we are connected and supporting each other - directly battling loneliness and isolation amongst our mature community.

Transport:

Our Pride Hub is only a few minutes walk from Trafalgar train station and multiple buses stop outside of the Criterion Hotel opposite the Train Station.

Access:
The Pride Hub is fully accessible, with disability access to building from Contingent Street and ramp access, as well as disability access bathrooms and meeting space.
