Forever Rainbow Social Group - EAST GIPPSLAND Monthly Afternoon Tea

Our OCTOBER Forever Rainbows now includes a session prior to our social gathering. Please tick whether you can make it or not when registering. The session will be from 1.00-2.15PM in the same room and focus on a presentation by Jane Morris, the president of Dying with Dignity Victoria

Gippsland Pride are so pleased to invite our East Gippsland community to "Forever Rainbows" our monthly social group for LGBTIQA+ folks over 50+ in Bairnsdale.

In partnership with Switchboard, and as part of the Pride in Aging Strategy, we welcome you to come along to this regular opportunity for connection, a cuppa and chat - These are NO COST and no pressure gatherings for Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Gender Diverse, Intersex and other 'Rainbow' Folks over the age of 50 in East Gippsland. This is in addition to our regular monthly catch up in Trafalgar (4th Friday of each month)

This is a no cost, informal get together to connect with other LGBTQIA+ community members, share resources and make new friendships and find out what is happening around the place. Stay for as long or little as you like but please register to ensure you can attend or 'sign in' on the day.

Our Forever Rainbow Program and events will assist the community to be inclusive, diverse and work towards positive mental health and physical health, and ensure we are connected and supporting each other - directly battling loneliness and isolation amongst our community thanks to the wonderful support of Switchboard and their Pride in Ageing project.

Venue: We have use of the Errinundra Community Room at Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) - 281 - 283 Main Street Bairnsdale. The room is accessible discretely via Main Street and through the front gate or you can enter via reception on McCulloch St. We have use of indoor and outdoor spaces to cover for all weather and the venue is heated/cooled, accessible with all gender and accessible bathrooms.
