Forged: Stress, Ethics, and Resilience for Correctional Officers
Description
Correctional officers face one of the most demanding and under-supported roles in public safety. Daily exposure to danger, trauma, inmate manipulation, and cumulative stress takes a measurable toll on officer health, performance, family stability, and career longevity. Most agencies never formally address it.
Forged is a four-hour live online training course delivered in partnership with Daytona State College. It gives correctional professionals a direct, practical framework for surviving the job and leading others through it, without filler and without theory for its own sake.
Instructor Thomas Gillan draws on real-world correctional cases and proven frameworks to guide participants through stress and trauma recognition, ethical decision-making under pressure, inmate manipulation awareness, and the resilience strategies that support long-term professional effectiveness.
Training Force USA, in partnership with Daytona State College, is proud to offer a online training designed to address these challenges head-on and equip correctional officers at every level with the tools needed to survive and thrive.
