An Evening with Aidan Morrison
Description
Join us in Scone, in the Upper Hunter, on Thursday evening 22 October for an important conversation with Aidan Morrison, Director of Energy Research at the Centre for Independent Studies on the New England Renewable Energy Zone, economics and national productivity.
At a time when rising energy costs, grid reliability and long-term economic competitiveness are shaping national debate, Aidan will explore the opportunities and challenges facing Australia's energy system and renewables and what they mean for the nation's future prosperity.
This thought-provoking evening will challenge participants to think beyond politics and headlines, unpack the key issues shaping Australia's energy future, and consider the practical steps needed to chart a more reliable path forward.
The evening is the second event hosted by the North West NSW Chapter of FORM Australia. The North West Chapter is an initiative established and led by North West NSW delegates who have participated in ASPIRE and are committed to building stronger connections between leaders across the region. The chapter seeks to equip local leaders to lead change in their "patch" of Northern NSW and Australia.
