Event description

Online forum for sustainability educators and practitioners
Supporting NSW schools to address organic waste challenges

Are you working with schools to tackle organic waste challenges?

Sustainable Schools NSW invites you to share your valuable insights at our upcoming online forum. Through discussion and dialogue this forum provides an opportunity to:

  • Share your insights: Build collective knowledge about successes and challenges engaging with school communities around organic waste issues
  • Discuss challenges and opportunities: Discuss opportunities, systems and strategies for change
  • Connect and collaborate: Learn from fellow educators who share your passion for school sustainability
  • Shape future strategies: Your input will inform development of strategies to support schools in reducing and managing their organic waste.

This forum will inform research and recommendations to the NSW EPA, who are working with institutions to address organic waste reduction targets under the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy.

If you are unable to attend the online forum, you are welcome to provide feedback via email to the Sustainable Schools NSW Team. For more information contact hello@sustainableschoolsnsw.org.au

This forum is open to waste and sustainability educators, facilitators, professionals, practitioners - anyone who has worked with or in a school to take on the challenge to tackle organic waste.

This program is delivered by Sustainable Schools NSW, a not-for-profit initiative of Environmental Education NSW with support of the NSW EPA.
