Fossil Treasures in the Geology Museum

Fossil whales, sharks teeth, penguins, graptolites, ammonites, brachiopods, corals, ferns, bugs in amber, stromatolites and much, much more…

Come and see, touch and talk about a hundred special fossils from Otago and Southland, and bring your own fossil (from New Zealand only) to be identified.

The Geology Museum is located in the Geology Department, opposite the Clocktower Building, Room GS13. Entry from Quadrangle has steps. There is a disability park and wheelchair access from a side door on Leith Street, opposite St Margarets.
