Foundation Golf Day

For the first time since 2017 we are delighted to host a Foundation Golf Day on Friday 4 August, at Nudgee Golf Course.

Aside from a great day on the course with friends from across the Somerville community, our aim will be to support Director of Sport Andrew McCabe in his quest to offer world class sporting facilities at SomerFields.

Sponsorship and player registrations will go towards lifting SomerField facilities to the next level.

Andrew McCabe’s wish list is our 2023 objective::  

•  Football goals x 2 - Senior Soccer Portable, Aluminium
•  Track & Field – for premiere track venue in Brisbane
•  Electronic Timing & Starting system - $30K          
•  Competition Hurdles x 100 & Trolleys x 3 - $40K
•  Discus Cage (Fixed unit) - $22K
•  High Jump Mat, Uprights and Crossbars - $21K
•  Long Jump, three lane run up and pit, $60-$80k
•  Sports ‘Ute’ – for ALL sports especially rowing!

Teams of four or individuals are invited to register for eighteen holes of 4 Ball Ambrose - $180 per person 

Schedule for the day:

6:15am Registration and breakfast
7:10am Golf Briefing and escort to holes
7:30am Shotgun start
12:30pm Post golf function
