The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is holding a webinar to share information about the Foundation Skills Framework.
The webinar is an opportunity for Foundation Skills providers and stakeholders to learn about the draft Foundation Skills Framework (the Framework).

What will the webinar cover?
This webinar will provide information about the draft Framework, discuss how an outcomes-based approach works, and seek your feedback on how the Framework could drive better outcomes for learners and the Foundation Skills sector.
Topics covered will include:
- Background to the Foundation Skills Framework development
- Structure and elements of the framework
- How the framework can be used
- Next steps, including the development of jurisdictional action plans.
How will the webinar be run?
The webinar will run for 1 hour. The link to join the webinar will be sent in a reminder email one day before the event.

The webinar is open to anyone. It will be particularly relevant to current and potential Foundation Skills training providers, students, teachers and assessors, employment services providers, peak bodies and other stakeholders. This includes stakeholders representing specific groups such as youth, mature-aged Australians, people with disability, First Nations Australians, people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, and workers who are transitioning or unemployed.
During the webinar you will be able to provide your views about the Framework using an online engagement tool at menti.com. The code to participate will be provided during the webinar.
