We invited one of the trainers, Alan, from Malsh Martial Arts Australia to teach us the awareness of protect ourselves.

Velocity Empowerment - Foundations

Education and awareness are always the first steps in preventing gender-based violence. This 45-minute session covers sensitive and important topics about toxic and abusive behaviours, what it looks like, what is and isn't acceptable, and how to respond and support others. It is important to talk about these topics as a community to support each other and set the right expectations of respect. It will be facilitated by Alan Lau, CEO of Velocity Empowerment, a social enterprise tackling gender-based violence through emotional, mental, and physical self-defence.

It's important for everyone to have safety awareness in your daily life.
