Are you new to a governance role, thinking of joining a board or looking to develop your understanding of governance in a non-profit environment?
We are excited to host a special workshop with Dr Jo Cribb, an experienced board director, consultant, strategist and author. Jo has worked with hundreds of boards in the not-for-profit sector, regularly facilitates for the Institute of Directors and is passionate about supporting community groups.
The Foundations of Good Governance workshop will be held in Gore on Wednesday, 15th October from 2:00pm -4:00pm. This is an applied, practical session covering the following topics:
what is governance and how it differs from management and operations
your duties as a director
how not-for-profit community boards add value: the four key functions
what great not-for-profit community boards do (and don't do)
Ticket includes light afternoon tea.
