This series of 5 x 2-hour online sessions is Stage 1 of the 2022 Australasian Courage & Renewal Facilitator Preparation Program (FPP). Attendance at all five sessions is required to be eligible for selection to continue to Stage 2 of the FPP program. Please ensure you adjust timings for your local daylight saving time zone.
Stage I The Foundations of the Circle of Trust series will provide participants with an understanding of the principles and practices underlying the COT approach. It is an important base for those who wish to bring COT principles and practices into their workplaces and communities without going through the entire Facilitator Preparation Program. The Center for Courage & Renewal is currently developing a “Practitioner” pathway that will provide ongoing communities of support for such people. The sessions will be interactive for participants, with opportunities for personal and shared reflection, and some pre-reading and reflective ‘homework’ in between sessions.
Numbers are limited for this program, so please register early.
The Courage & Renewal Facilitator Preparation Program has been redesigned as a three-stage process, with participants now able to commit to one stage at a time without obligation to continue to the next. Each stage develops participants' understanding of the theory and practice of the Circle of Trust approach, and builds upon previous learning. At the conclusion of each stage, participants who feel a strong connection to Courage & Renewal work will be invited to apply to continue with the process. Many factors go into the selection process, including personal qualities, prior experience, diversity, and previous experience with Circle of Trust processes.
Successful completion of all three stages is required for designation as a Facilitator prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal.
