Foundations of trauma-informed care and practice
Event description
In this FREE two-hour training, participants will learn the foundations of trauma-informed care and practice, why it is needed, and familiarise themselves with the principles that underpin these approaches. Guidance will be provided on implementing trauma-informed care and practice in service and organisational settings, and trauma-informed frameworks and resources will be shared.

This workshop is tailored for managers, professionals and practitioners who work in various community services (child protection, mental health, legal, alcohol and other drugs, health and allied health, and family, domestic and sexual violence). It specifically supports services in planning and developing trauma-informed programs, services or organisations.
