Founders $*@^up Stories & How to avoid them
Event description
How else do we learn except by making mistakes?
For this 'dare to come' event, we've gathered together a bunch of founders brave enough to get up in front of a room full of
strangers and share their biggest mistakes. The stories of the
businesses that crashed and burned, the partnership deal that went sour,
the product that had to be recalled, we tell them all.
From f*ckups with founders of multi-million dollar companies to the craziest things we've had to tell investors, customers, partners..this is going to be a vulnerable bumpy ride so strap in.
But this isn't your run of the mill event with a presentation and then you go home to dinner and wine, Netflix
Think of it more as a lively salon or barbershop. Make sure you bring your own story of 'the time it all went pear-shaped', because everyone gets to share their own story. That's YOU! So bring a good one :)
What you need to bring
A story of your own genuine $*@^up. You'll know it's the right story if you feel vulnerable sharing it. But don't worry, we've all been there!
"How I $*@^ed up" Story Template

The plan for the night
- We'll first open the event with some crazy music for a bit of fun and lighten the mood with some jokes
- A couple of brave founders will share their $*@^up for the whole group
- Everyone has the chance to share one of their vulnerable and scary stories
- We vote on who's got the most $*@^ed up story
- We party 🎊 and connect, if you're joining in person we'll have beers, kombucha and some food or we may pub crawl hehe
