    Event description

We live in a changing world. We face many challenges, opportunities and uncertainties. As a start-up founder, your journey will be extremely unpredictable. You will be required to adapt to rapidly changing markets and pivot your business multiple times until you get it ‘right’.

What does this mean for you?

It means that you need to start your entrepreneurship journey with a strong founder mindset and let it guide your journey. This involves knowing yourself really well and having clarity of vision. At this workshop, you will learn to build your vision and turn it into a business you love.

    Recommended for:

Founders, future entrepreneurs, start-up ecosystem nurturers and champions who believe in making a positive impact in the world with their vision.

    Workshop outline:

The workshop will be comprised of four topics.

    • Decision making for founders: Personal values
    • Playing to your strengths: Finding your unique genius
    • Inspiring people with your vision: Finding your why
    • What kind of founder do you want to become?: Founder Identity

    Facilitator profile:

Yun Jae Lee is an expert idea cultivator.

Yun Jae gets fired up helping students, professors, and startup founders turn ideas into reality. She loves designing and running programs.

Yun Jae holds a Masters Degree in Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Since 2011, she’s helped develop and execute numerous early stage concepts into tangible projects in the technology and start-up sector.

The two parts of previous jobs where Yun Jae was in her genius zone formed the genesis of her current offerings. The Ideashaper programs help people grow and go after personal goals, and use the skills they innately have to create a positive impact in the world.

Yun Jae has a keen, genuine interest in creating opportunities for others to develop abilities and potential. She aims to make those opportunities accessible to more people.

She is actively involved in student mentoring, entrepreneurship, and increasing diversity in the tech sector, and spends her time between Auckland, Vancouver and Seoul, her three homes.
