Event description

Connect with us virtually in our popular midday Speaker Series!

How important is it to manage your own digital assets and presence?

NGNY
is a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated digital media business founded by Liam Ridgeway - Gumbaynggirr + Wakka Wakka- and John Saulo - Wergaia + Gunditjmara. They are Supply Nation certified, an affiliate member of the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce and a Certified B-Corporation. NGNY's work ranges from graphic design, web & mobile app development, CRM integration, website hosting & security and digital marketing.

NGNY believes all Indigenous organisations, businesses and individuals should control and manage their digital presence and assets. This is called the Indigenous Digital Economy, where technology is used as an enabler and where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are creators, influencers and managers of technology and which intersects appropriately with the various cultures and community priorities across the country.

While the majority of NGNY's clients are Indigenous businesses and organisations, they have also delivered work for government (Federal - State - Local), large enterprises and small non-Indigenous business.

We speak to Liam Ridgeway, co-founder of NGNY about maintaining independence in business.
