Event description

In what sets an important precedent for the Australian fashion landscape, beloved social enterprise clothing label Magpie Goose is now the first non-Indigenous company to transition to First Nations ownership. Brisbane-based Amanda Hayman and Troy Casey of Blaklash Creative, Open House Collective and Aboriginal Art Co took over as owner-directors. In this week’s Founders’ Stories, join host Helen Loughlin as she finds out the intricacies of the transition and what this means for Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property.
