Four Guitars returns!! Saturday, December 5th, 7-9 pm
Seven Stars Art Center is pleased to present the 5th edition of the Four Guitars Concert.
This tradition was conceived in 2019 by Peter Neri, host of the radio show, “One Guitar” on Royalton Community Radio (www.royaltonradio.org/) in South Royalton, VT.
The concert features local area guitarists demonstrating four distinctly different genres of music and each played instrumentally on a solo guitar with no musical accompaniment.
Each artist will play for approximately 20 minutes, with a short intermission after the first two performers.
Doors open at 6:30.
$25 at the door
Children under 12 – free admittance.

William Ghezzi - Classical William Ghezzi has performed extensively with orchestras, chamber ensembles, choruses, dance companies, in theater and opera, and for films, radio and television. He has appeared with the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra, the Harry Partch Ensemble, the Philadelphia Guitar Ensemble, and in many other solo and chamber music settings.

Spencer Lewis - Ambient Folk
Spencer performs his signature folk grooves using his inimitable cross-flat-picking guitar style. His program will include solo pieces from his 1991 masterpiece Gardener’s Rain, newly re-released as an LP, along with recent compositions and selections from his 26 album catalog. Peter Neri - Alt Folk
In the 1970s, Peter began his career playing guitar for rock bands that opened for some well-known pop groups. Since then, Peter has released three CDs of all original solo guitar instrumentals. He has also written and performed guitar music on some currently streaming TV shows. Peter also hosts a weekly radio show on WFVR.org called “One Guitar” highlighting other solo guitar instrumentalists from around the world.“Largely working from open and altered tunings, Neri creates musical impressions”- Minor 7th

Draa Hobbs - Jazz
Draa Hobbs has been a professional musician for more than 40 years. He has played in clubs and concerts throughout New England, Boston, New York, as well as Germany and France, and has performed in concerts with jazz legends Don Friedman, Ron McClure, Jed Levy, Eliot Zigmund, Barry Altschul, and top tier guitarists Peter Bernstein, Vic Juris, and Steve Cardenas. Draa has also performed several times with NYC vocalist Kendra Shank. He appears on numerous CDs as a sideman and has released two CDs: “Solo Guitar”, and a quintet CD of all original compositions.
