Hazards

There may be flashing and fast movements during the film that could be harmful for those with sensitivities.

Accessible parking

There is accessible and general parking on Plowman Street near the main entrance, if you require a close spot let us know so we can try and reserve this for you. There is also parking in the Young Street entrance where the Frankston Dolphins Social Rooms Function Room Hire sign is and general parking around.

Support Workers and Companion Cards

Support workers that need to accompany you are allowed in for free, please note this as an accessibility request so we can ensure we have a seat for you and them when you purchase your ticket.

Sensory

We encourage you to bring your own earplugs, masks and sensory tools (fidget spinner, squish, teddy, ect) however if you are unable to we will provide a sensory table with things to draw on, fidget toys, masks and earplugs in cash you get overwhelmed, need a moment or just need something to fidget or draw on whilst watching the film or Q&A. If you need a moment outside and to come back this is also allowed.

Masks and Feeling Unwell

We encourage the wearing of masks and for you to bring your own mask to protect those around you and yourself from illnesses and diseases such as covid and the flu. If you are feeling unwell before the event you are able to refund up to 2 days until the event. If you are feeling unwell on the day of the screening please email us for a refund, if you would like to keep it as donation we can keep it as such and we will give the seat to another guest, there is also a virtual option if still interested in watching the film and Q&A. We don’t encourage showing up to the event if feeling unwell and without seeing a medical professional and testing if needed. We will provide masks and hand sanitiser on the day for general health purposes, feel free to grab one or ask if needed.

Film

Palestinian's Don't Need Sidewalks may have some flash, light and movement that could impact viewers with sensitivities as well as some scenes the viewer may find concerning. In the case you are needing a break from the film you will be allowed to get some space outside or in our sensory room. There are some subtitles throughout the movie, unfortunately we cannot cover other accessibility needs such as audio visual captions but please do let us know if you do need this so we can alert the film makers and see what we can do!
