Framework Issue Launch #48: Fatal Crush
Description
Come celebrate the launch of Framework's 48th issue, Ir/relevance // Ir/reverence, with us at Fatal Crush!
Fatal Crush is our launch event and reading night for UNSW Art and Design's critical and experimental arts publication, Framework. For our last issue of 2026, we asked writers to respond to the theme:
Ir/relevance // Ir/reverence
How are “trivial”, “small” acts of care, dismissal, in/attention, maintenance, practiced and accumulated? Is this care about nourishment of spirit or practicality or a red herring? How does body, mind environment respond to, re-experience or refuse awe. Do you revere what is relevant, and revere equally, irrelevance?
Think of small gestures, DIY acts, make-do acts, tedious acts, unheroic acts, survival acts, self-organising acts, You may think of: ritual, caring, community, repetition.
Join us for an evening of readings and performances featuring:
Edna Grigoriou
Dalia Caceres
