Francis-Lee Duo 10-Year Anniversary Concert
Description
Ten years of making music together feels like something worth celebrating! Formed in 2016, the Francis-Lee Duo (violinist Dr Charlotte Francis and pianist Gemma Lee) have shared a deep passion for chamber music through countless rehearsals, performances, friendship, and plenty of memorable adventures. Join us for an evening celebrating a decade of making music together, with a few stories from along the way.
The programme brings together the "greatest hits" from the last ten years of concerts: Mozart's Violin Sonata in B♭ major, K. 454, Brahms' Violin Sonata No. 2 in A major, and Kreisler's ever-charming Old Viennese Dances.
We look forward to sharing this special milestone with you - and, naturally, there will be a drink afterwards!
Entry is by koha (donation). We simply ask that you register so we can get a sense of numbers and make sure there's enough wine to go around before and after the concert, along with some nibbles afterwards.
