Building compassionate communities
Building Compassionate Communities is a project started by Onewa Christian Community, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand, in 2023 with support from the Justice-Compassion Trust. A number of public workshops have been run including, ‘Better conversations’ and ‘Restorative thinking’ and 'Cultural Sensitivity in New Zealand' and 'Navigating Mental Health and Anxiety'.
The series of workshops will focus on Building Compassionate Communities. These workshops and talks are open to anyone who is interested in growing opportunities for people to talk with others and learn the skills of building cohesive communities. Would you like to join us? Come along.
