Try something new online with the guidance of Abbie Allen in Get Online Week and see how you can use AI (free) to do all sorts of clever things. Have you ever wanted to write a funny poem, be a published author, or find just the right words for a card? Are you certain where you can find reliable safe advice online?

Abbie will demonstrate how to use ChatGPT free to find out information and assist creative projects - and she'll help you have a go too so you can continue to use it at home. Please bring your smartphone, laptop or notepad with you if you have one.

Abbie will also demonstrate and show you the government backed website to go to for reliable, safe advice about all things online, including information about how to avoid being scammed. You will be able to learn and use the website after this session to find out even more about doing things online and who can help you locally.

This session is held at Mt Barker Community library (on the TAFE grounds, same car park) and is FREE for anyone - it's especially aimed at those aged 50+

Book in, come along, enjoy a warm welcome, connect with like minded people and learn lots of new things! We will be providing snacks, as this session is held over lunchtime, and we encourage you to bring sandwiches or additional snacks if you would like to - as well as your smartphone, ipad, notepad or laptop.
