This free menstruation workshop is part of my project, 'BLOOD: The Musical'. This year, I received a commission from Central Coast Council's Creative Arts Central program to write a musical based on the rites of passage of menstruation and perimenopause.

I am offering a complimentary 2.5-hour workshop designed to help women aged 16 and above cultivate self-care, self-awareness, and empowerment in relation to their menstrual cycle. Whether your cycle is new to you, a regular experience, or irregular, or you're in the midst of perimenopause, this workshop is for you.

We will sit in a circle together and create a safe space for sharing what's on your mind and in your heart.

This workshop will cover:

-Thoughts, fears and perceptions of menstruation in society and culture. We will dispel the myth that menstruation is a curse and learn the gifts of this rite of passage together in circle.

-The 4-week menstruation cycle map. This powerful tool will help you develop self-awareness and gain a deeper understanding of what your symptoms may be trying to tell you. (extremely important tool for navigating menstruation and perimenopause)

-Emotional responses - Normalising changes in mood & energy levels at each week of the cycle.

-Tips for self-care and ways to utilise each week of the cycle for your well-being and self-expression.

-Fun exercises to help break the ice and express yourself.
