Free Mock OC and Selective Test Day

Why a Mock OC & Selective Test is essential:
The Opportunity Class (OC) and Selective High School exams are highly competitive, and well-prepared students have a distinct advantage.

Our FREE Mock Test offers your child the chance to:
- Familiarise themselves with the format, timing, and question types they will encounter.
- Practice under timed conditions, honing their ability to stay focused and manage time effectively.
- Receive a performance report that provides detailed insights into their strengths and areas for improvement. 

Location:

Students can sit a Mock Test at one of the following Matrix Education campuses: Hurstville, Parramatta, and Strathfield.

Current students in Year 2 & 3 are invited to sit the Mock OC Test and those in Year 4 & 5 are invited to sit the Mock Selective High School Test.

Mock OC Test

Test structure:

The Mock OC Test is a paper-based exam with multiple-choice questions. It has 3 separate test components:

Test Date and Time:

Saturday 5 October 10:00am - 11:15am (75 minutes in total)

After the test:

In the weeks following the Mock Test, you'll receive an in-depth diagnostic report—included in this free event! Gain insights into your child's performance, including:

• How their test scores compare to those of other students
• Their performance in each section of the exam
• Recommendations for better exam preparation and improvement

Mock Selective High School Test

Test structure:

The Mock Selective High School Test is a paper-based exam with multiple-choice questions. It has 3 separate test components:

Time:

Saturday 5 October 10:00am - 12:00pm (120 minutes in total)

After the test:
