The Flower District Town Team proudly present a movie screening of Black Cockatoo Crisis, a family friendly FREE community event, with the support of Town of Cambridge.
The extinction clock is ticking on our black cockatoos. Will we save them in time?
Doors open - 3pm
Screening - 4pm
Q&A - 5.30pm
Next Door to Besk Bottleshop (former gym space) West Leederville
Special guest appearance from Rex - an Endangered Black Cockatoo from Kaarakin (3-4pm). And a Q&A with Paddy Cullen from Save the Black Cockatoos and Ian Kininmonth from Transition Town Vincent.
We encourage you to buy drinks from Besk next door for the screening. And there will be tastings from Black Cockatoo Distillery.
Please bring your own snacks, beanbag, fold up chair and/or rug to make yourselves comfy on the tiled flooring.
This is a free event, however, we do require registration as numbers are limited.
