Event description

The Board's Role in Financial Oversight

All board members are required to make wise decisions on behalf of the organisation. If you can’t read your organisation’s financial statements, you are missing a large part of the information you need to know to ensure good judgement. It is no longer enough to just have a treasurer who knows what is going on. All committee members are required to know how to read their financials and to take the right meaning from your financial position.

Date: June 10

Time: 6.30pm to 7.45pm

Cost: FREE

On Zoom (email with Zoom link will be sent prior to the day of the event)

Presenter: Carol Scholes (Overview Effect)

Carol specialises in helping organisations understand their bigger vision and develop their strategy, to achieve success for both the organisation and the individuals within it.

Much of Carol’s work involves asking useful and sometimes challenging questions to stretch thinking and enable individuals and teams to understand their current position and future growth plans.

With her governance, management and financial experience, and her ability to work with all levels of an organisation, she is ideally placed to understand the overall impact of change in an organisation.

Carol has excellent training experience and utilises these techniques and her expertise in her coaching sessions with individuals and groups.
