About Genevieve Muir (Connected Parenting)

Gen Muir is an Obstetric Social Worker, Parent Educator, LEGO DUPLO ambassador and mum to four boys. With a deep passion for early childhood development, she is dedicated to supporting families, caregivers, and educators in fostering strong, nurturing connections during the crucial early years. Over her career, Gen has guided over 40,000 parents through the joys and challenges of raising young children, offering practical insights and compassionate advice. Her recent book, Big People, Little Feelings (2024), and her co-hosted podcast, Beyond the Chaos, provide valuable resources for those working with or raising little ones, emphasising the importance of emotional resilience and play in early childhood.

 

About Fiona Brown

Fiona Brown is passionate about fairness, connection, and empowering both consumers and the people who serve them. With a background spanning communications, leadership, and consumer advocacy, she has dedicated her career to improving how organisations listen to and engage with their communities.

For a decade, Fiona led SOCAP Australia, supporting better outcomes for customers—particularly those experiencing vulnerability or conflict. She has also worked across media, industry, and community sectors, always with a focus on communication, trust, and meaningful engagement.

Beyond her professional life, Fiona is a proud mother of three and grandmother of three, and values the deep sense of community that comes from shared experiences - like those found in playgroup.
