FREE School Readiness Information Session for Families.

Transition to School  Information Session -

For families with children 0-8 years

Session 1 – Tuesday 13 May 2025 - 7pm-8pm 

This session we will talk about the differences between home, early childhood education and school and how to prepare ourselves and our children for this exciting time in our lives. Getting ready for school is a process for the whole family. There will be many changes to navigate. It's an exciting time for families and careful planning, understanding the demands of school life and having a positive relationship with the school are key factors in a smooth transition.

Time:         7.00 pm - 8.00 pm 

Location:  Online via Zoom

Supports that may be available for transition to school Information Session  - 

For families with children 0-8 years

Session 2 – Tuesday 27 May 2025 - 7pm-8pm

This session will focus on support that may be available for children who have additional requirements when they start school and how to access those services. We will talk about the process (how and when) of applying for extra support for communication, social/emotional, mental health, cognitive and/ or physical domains. We will also talk about early intervention preschools that may be available for children who meet certain criteria.

Time:         7.00 pm - 8.00 pm
